Just got ranked!
Yipee! About Coolness just got ranked on google! it’s now Pagerank 2 from Pagerank 0
Well if you know online webmaster/seo/marketing/etc you know what this means 
for the rest who don’t know about it here’s a brief explanation of PR:
PageRank is Google’s patent pending technology that
rates the “importance” of a given web page. PageRank is used by Google
to determine a page’s rank on a query results page.
the highest is 10 so this blog is 2/10 ,this blog is about a month old.. so not bad huh? yes it’s AWESOMELY COOLNESS because I’ve seen some sites like a year old and still no Pagerank!

Dunno… my blog got dropped from PR4 to PR3, but that’s understandable since I haven’t been writing at all this year (just 2 entries in 2008 so far). I’ve never dropped in PR until now.
Strangely… my ‘test blog’ (it’s just a domain I use for testing purposes… testing new WordPress themes, plugins, code, etc.)… only has 1 test post (”Hello World” garbage text) and 1 fake test comment went from PR2 to PR3 yesterday. For real. Actually, in the previous Google update, it went from PR0 to PR2. Now… PR3?! That’s pretty funny. I’m thinking of closing my current domain and using this “test blog” to start fresh and get back my blogging mojo.
Yeah, so Google is nuts if it’s giving empty sites a PR of more than 1.

I have to say I am happy in some respects with the latest update not so happy in others.
Like Fruityoaty, I have a blog which has very little on it which went from 0 to 2, and a blog which I have really been pouring my heart and soul into went from 0 to 1.
At least I did not lose any on my main blog so this is a bonus, it started at 3 and finished at 3 lol.

Good for you then. I’ve heard some sites from Pr4 to PR1 and even PR0… more webmasters are sad in this update..

It’s just a junk site where I try out new stuff - themes, plugins, etc.. (It was never ever a blog or anything. Has basically no content.)
If you check for backward links (Google) for this test site, you’ll see absolutely none… 0 links:
