Well… Finland was prepared for war. They knew exactly how to defend themselves and did their best at it. So hell yeah, be afraid!

Every finn like myself know the deal. These facts dont seem to show that we lost east-karelia.
It also dont show what happened before wwII – when finns asked great britain and others for assistance
only the germans responded.
my grandpa was pioneer in the winter war, and returned. he was all but vocal about what happened.
he was not proud of his headcount or the war.
his message is to not glorify war. there is no glory in killing and dying.
but watch the russian bear – for he cannot be trusted.
